ABOUT SCHOOL
Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School known to all as P.T.V. Eng. Med. School is named after erudite fearless freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. It is a private unaided school. It was started in small way in 1982 in the Marathi Medium Primary School building. The school had about 120 students and three dedicated enthusiastic, hardworking teachers. Mrs. Sulabha Sule, who is rightly called the doyen of our school, Mrs. Shobhana Bijoor the first Principal of the school are the soul of the school who braved the beginning and shaped it to what it is today. From 1999 onwards Mrs. Sharada Limaye had shouldered the responsibility of the Secondary Section and Mrs. Amita Bhide was the Principal of Primary Section from 1994.

Mrs.Sadhana Sahasrabuddhe [ M.Sc., B.Ed., M.A.(Edu)]
Joined as an assistant teacher for Mathematics and Science in June 1991.Was promoted to Supervisor in Nov. 2008 .Worked as Deputy Head Mistress from June 2009. Took charge as Head Mistress in June 2014.

This school was dream come true for Shri G. R. Thosar, Shri Dadasaheb Sathe, Shri Y. M. Bapat, and others in the managing committee without whose constant perseverance and strong will the school would not have materialised. They wanted an institution which had strong roots in Indian tradition and which catches the sunshine of modernity and here is the edifice standing before them with tradition, modernity and culture as its three corner stones.
