Digital Darpan Jan 2026 edition – PTVA Schools Joint Newsletter
PTVA is delighted to launch Digital Darpan, the digital edition of PTVA’s joint school newsletter Darpan.
With this initiative, PTVA aims to give school children hands-on experience in studio recording and exposure to modern media technology. Digital Darpan will be published every month and will feature a few selected items from the printed edition of Darpan.
The recording and editing work is being handled by the Bachelor of Mass Media students of M. L. Dahanukar College, in the college’s newly created, state-of-the-art recording studio. Each month, students from one PTVA school will participate in the presentation of the digital issue.
The first issue has been presented by the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya ICSE Secondary Section. The students thoroughly enjoyed the recording process and learned how to face the camera, read from a teleprompter, and maintain the right tone and pitch of voice. At the same time, the college students gained valuable experience by working on a live project. They learned how to record on a chroma background, use lighting effectively, and enhance videos with suitable backgrounds and visuals.
