Dr. Sachin Suresh Joshi has an impressive academic background, having completed his Master’s degree in Law, a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, and qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET). He also holds a Ph.D. in Law. Since 2015, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at M. L. Dahanukar College of Commerce.
Dr. Joshi has to his credit several research papers published in reputed national and international journals. His deep inclination and passion for teaching have strengthened his commitment to the field of education.
His doctoral research focused on understanding the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, in the context of Human Rights and its impact on society and the legal system. For this study, he collected, analysed, and interpreted secondary data from various reports, along with a comparative analysis of similar legislations in developing and other countries, as well as related laws complementing the POCSO Act, 2012. Through his research, Dr. Joshi has also endeavoured to offer valuable suggestions to policymakers and lawmakers in the country.
Dr. Sachin Suresh Joshi continues to remain actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic initiatives, with a vision to promote legal awareness, social justice, and responsible citizenship through education.
